It may only be March, but we're excited for spring! It's probably a tad early, but I decided to plant a few tomato and pepper seeds today. With Northern Nevada's relatively short growing season, I thought a head start might not be a bad idea. This climate and growing zone are totally new to both of us, so everything in the garden feels like an experiment anyway.

A greenhouse is in our plans, but for now Dan built me a cart with wheels that I can keep plants on and roll outside for morning sun and back inside to protect them from the still a bit wintery weather. After the last frost we'll transplant everything to our raised beds and see what happens!
